Why a Season
One masterclass can inspire you.
A season can change how you perform.
Real progress rarely happens in a single lesson. A singer may leave one masterclass inspired, with new ideas and valuable feedback, but the greatest development comes when those experiences continue and build on one another.
That is why we created The Vocal Excellence Masterclass Series.
Regular lessons build the foundation. A masterclass asks you to use it in a new environment, in front of others, with a coach who may hear something differently.
Across the season, performers encounter different coaches, disciplines and ways of working. Each experience adds another layer: new skills, new perspectives and greater confidence.
You are not expected to arrive knowing everything. You come to learn, experiment, be challenged and grow.
By the end of the season, you won’t simply have attended a series of masterclasses. You will have spent months becoming more prepared, more independent and more confident as a performer.
Because the performers who are ready when an opportunity comes are rarely the ones who started preparing the week before.

Across the season, areas may include vocal technique, acting through song, interpretation, audition preparation, musicianship, working with an accompanist, stagecraft and performance. Each masterclass offers something different. There is no masterclass in December.
How It Works
International coaching. Live music. Real-time work.
Active Participants attend in person at Vocal Excellence in Limassol, with a professional pianist accompanying performances live.
The guest coach joins live on screen from abroad, watching and listening in real time. Active Participants work directly with the coach, performing, receiving individual feedback and immediately putting that direction into practice.
Observers learn from the process, listening to the coaching, watching how performers respond to direction and discovering ideas they can apply to their own work. Observers can be in the room in Limassol or join live online from anywhere in the world.
This connects performers in Cyprus with artists and teachers around the world, and it isn’t a webinar or a pre-recorded online class. It is a live, interactive masterclass built around real performance, live music and real-time coaching.
Each Saturday runs 13:00–17:00 Cyprus time — 4 hours of masterclass work, divided into two focused sessions with a break in between.
Every masterclass is prepared for a reliable live connection, with wired internet at both ends, a tested backup connection and a full soundcheck with the coach before the audience arrives.

Active Participants perform with our live pianist and receive direct individual coaching from the guest coach.
There are 12 Active Participant places in each masterclass, so every performer gets meaningful time with the coach.
Your place includes full masterclass access, live piano accompaniment, individual coaching, a recording of your coached performance and a Vocal Excellence Certificate of Participation.
Recording is subject to the required consent. For anyone under 18, consent must be provided by a parent or guardian.

When you register, you can tell us which masterclass you are interested in, whether you would like to take part as an Active Participant or an Observer, and whether you are interested in a Full Season Pass.
Registering does not book a place, and no payment is taken. Your place is confirmed once payment is completed.
Enrolment is open for 24 October. Register, then book your place straight away.
Places are offered in the order registrations arrive, to singers who are eligible. If a place is not taken up by the stated deadline, it passes to the next person.
You do not need to be advanced. Places are not auditioned, scored or ranked.
All places must be confirmed in advance. There are no walk-in places.
Recording, Photography and Video
The live coaching is recorded with consent.
Photography and video material are also captured throughout the masterclass day.
Participation requires the appropriate consent. For anyone under 18, consent must be provided by a parent or guardian.
Any use beyond participation is a separate, optional permission. Declining it changes nothing about your place.
Personal filming by attendees is not permitted.

Throughout the season, Vocal Excellence connects performers in Cyprus with artists, educators and industry professionals working internationally.
Both coaches confirmed so far have worked with Vocal Excellence singers before, as part of our Summer Workshop.

West End performer (Phantom of the Opera, Sound of Music). Royal Academy of Music alum.
Her coaching brings together vocal technique, musicality and acting through song, with experience preparing performers for drama school auditions.

Acting Coach
Juilliard graduate. House of Cards, Russian Doll, Broadway’s Romeo and Juliet.
Her coaching focuses on acting through song, interpretation and character, helping performers connect more deeply with the story they are telling.

Observer places are open to anyone aged 11 and over.

Is this something I attend online?
It depends which place you take. Active Participants attend in person, in the Limassol studio, because they perform with our live pianist in front of the room. Observers can be in the room in Limassol or join live online from anywhere. Either way the guest coach joins live on screen from abroad and works with the room in real time, and it is a live, interactive masterclass, not a webinar or a pre-recorded class.
Do I have to perform?
No. Observers attend the full masterclass without performing.
Will masterclasses be recorded?
Yes. The live coaching is recorded with consent, and photography and video material are captured across the masterclass day. Participation requires the appropriate consent, and for anyone under 18 that consent must be provided by a parent or guardian. Personal filming by attendees is not permitted. Any use beyond participation is a separate, optional permission, and declining it changes nothing about your place.
When does it begin?
The first season runs from October 2026 to May 2027, with seven masterclasses and no masterclass in December. Masterclasses take place on a Saturday, 13:00–17:00 Cyprus time. The first is Saturday 24 October 2026 with Kate Batter; the remaining dates are confirmed one by one, and waitlist members hear each confirmation first.
Does registering book my place?
Not on its own. Straight after you register, your personal booking page opens. Book there, and your place is confirmed once payment is completed. Under 18 and registering alone? We email the booking link to your parent or guardian.
